Sample Sunday is a Twitter event to share reading samples and gain exposure for your work. In order to participate, you must have a Twitter account and a blog or website in order to post your sample. Then create a twitter post that sends people to your sample with a link to it as well as the hashtag #SampleSunday. The point being that once other writers or readers see that hashtag, they will visit the link and/or retweet it. Sample Sunday is most effective when you participate in it actively. You have to visit and comment on other people’s samples so that they will visit and comment on yours. Here is my tweet for Sunday January 15th.
