Tip #53 Local Magazines

I was reading a local magazine and saw a section of book reviews. What especially struck me was that the book reviews were for books for Middle School girls. I thought it was perfect. So I found the email address of the reviewer and asked him to read Priscilla the Great as well. Though he responded with the comment “I usually only read books from major publishers” he still agreed to read Priscilla. So instead of letting the comment hurt my feelings, I just mailed off a copy. Hopefully, he’ll read it and like it and I’ll get a couple of mentions in some magazines.
